今年初 Russo 退伍後搬了新家，開始新生活後便認真考慮再養一隻狗，在網路上搜尋的同時，竟意外的在當地的收容所 Flagler Humane Society 網站上一眼就發現了 Bones ! 原來前女友帶走 Bones 之後不久便將 Bones 帶往這個收容所表示她沒有能力再照顧這隻狗了，幸好 Bones 是一隻有禮貌又可愛的狗狗，收容所的員工都很愛她，還會讓 Bones 在辦公區域內跑進跑出~

 

在前往收容所之前 Russo 覺得 Bones 應該認不出他來，畢竟軍旅生活四年中只有短暫幾次放假回家能與 Bones 相處。不過 Bones 果然沒讓人失望，一見到失散多年的主人， Bones 馬上認了出來且開心的又叫又跳!

收容所員工表示這根本是場命中注定的重逢，因為在 Russo 找到 Bones 之前，Bones 曾短暫被收養了兩個半月，但與收養家庭的狗狗合不來因此又被送回了收容所。

Bones 重回主人的懷抱後，現在這一人一狗每週固定會去海邊散步，晚上就窩在一起睡覺，Russo 表示他真的很開心能找回 Bones!

**後記: 透明翻譯在搜尋了其他相關新聞之後，發現 Russo 的前女友曾經帶者非常健康的 Bones 到獸醫院請醫生協助安樂死，幸好醫師沒有答應，因此前女友才會又帶著 Bones 到了內文中所提的收容所。而 Russo 在退伍後曾嘗試要找回 Bones 但前女友換了電話因此無法聯繫。
